- ROSSETI will allocate more than 4 billion rubles for the development of electric grids in Udmurtia in 2026
Next year, ROSSETI will invest more than 4 billion rubles in the development of electric grids in Udmurtia. This became known following a meeting between the head of the republic Alexander Brechalov and the CEO of the energy company Andrey Ryumin, the press service of Rosseti reports.
In 2026, one of the key projects will be the construction of a 110 kV substation in the region to supply electricity to a future large industrial site and connect it to the Glazov industrial park network, where it is planned to create Russia's largest plant for the production of rare earth magnets.
According to Brechalov, the company currently serves more than 32,000 km of overhead and cable lines and 228 substations in the region. Since the beginning of the year, 334 km of transmission lines have been repaired, almost 1,400 poles and 48 km of wires have been replaced. "The result is that there are 13% fewer technological violations. It is important that the improvement of the quality of the region's network infrastructure will continue," Brechalov stressed.
Ryumin stressed that joint work with the region is especially important during the heating season, when the load on the energy system increases. "At the same time, we continue to implement projects related to the development of Udmurtia. We plan to invest more than 4 billion rubles in the republic in 2026," he said.
The head of Rosseti recalled that the company had recently upgraded a number of 220 kV backbone substations in the central and northern parts of Udmurtia, as well as connected the Palace of Martial Arts and the new Izhevsk air terminal to the network. In addition, additional capacity of the Vascular Center of the First Republican Clinical Hospital was provided.
