In an interview with the Moscow City News agency on Monday, December 22, the specialist noted that snow in the Moscow region is expected throughout the week, and the most intense precipitation is forecast on Friday. According to her, it is on this day that there is hope for the formation of a full-fledged snow cover.

On the same day, Pozdnyakova warned that a sharp change in the weather is expected in Moscow this week, with a transition to frosty and snowy weather. The coldest day of the week, according to Pozdnyakova, will be Wednesday, December 24.

Earlier on December 22, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that on Wednesday, December 24, January frosts of up to -10...-15 degrees are expected. Meteorologists called this day the coldest in the capital, Moscow 24 notes.
