New Year's Eve snow cover will form on Friday in Moscow
Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, said that the snow cover, which can last in Moscow until the New Year, will form on Friday, December 26.
In an interview with the Moscow City News agency on Monday, December 22, the specialist noted that snow in the Moscow region is expected throughout the week, and the most intense precipitation is forecast on Friday. According to her, it is on this day that there is hope for the formation of a full-fledged snow cover.
On the same day, Pozdnyakova warned that a sharp change in the weather is expected in Moscow this week, with a transition to frosty and snowy weather. The coldest day of the week, according to Pozdnyakova, will be Wednesday, December 24.
