Two Russian ski jumpers have been granted neutral status.
Two skiers from Russia, Mikhail Nazarov and Danil Sadreev, were awarded neutral status (AIN) by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). The updated list of athletes was published on the organization's website.
In addition, six Russian citizens were added to the list as support staff.
Three more Russian skiers received neutral status from the FIS on December 17. Alexander Andrienko, Semyon Yefimov and Ivan Kuznetsov received the right to participate in international competitions.
The FIS also granted individual neutral athlete status to Russian alpine skier Yulia Pleshkova on December 17 and Russian snowboarder Maria Travinicheva on December 15. Prior to that, on December 10, it became known about the approval of the application of Russian skier Savely Korostelev and skier Daria Nepryaeva for the AIN status.
