Israel has warned the United States that Iran is preparing for a possible strike under the guise of missile exercises by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This was reported on December 22 by the Axios portal, citing sources.

It is clarified that the chief of the Israeli General Staff, Eyal Zamir, called the head of the US Central Command, Brad Cooper, on Saturday, December 20, and said that the Israeli side was concerned about the IRGC missile exercises.

"The probability of an Iranian attack is less than 50%, but no one wants to take the risk and just say that this is just an exercise," said one of the Israeli sources.

According to the American side, US intelligence currently has no information about the possibility of an Iranian attack.

NBC News reported on December 20 that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to discuss new actions regarding Iran with US President Donald Trump. It was clarified that Israeli officials expressed concern about Iran's restoration of uranium enrichment facilities.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
