The UK has imposed sanctions against five individuals and 19 organizations.

The UK has added 19 companies and five individuals to the sanctions list. The relevant information was published on the website of the British Ministry of Finance on December 18.

The sanctions list includes major Russian oil companies, namely Tatneft, Russneft, NOC-Oil and Rosneftegaz. Also, according to a document published on the British government's website, trading companies Redwood Global Supply and Tejarinaft are included in the sanctions list.

The list of individuals includes citizens from Russia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Last time, the UK expanded the sanctions list on December 9, imposing restrictions on five organizations and two individuals. It lists, in particular, one foundation and media projects in Russian.

The next day, the Russian embassy called the latest package of sanctions "very cynical." The statement states that it includes the Fund for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad, as well as a number of individuals and structures from the field of media and political research, "which are often already under pressure from local authorities."
