Artificial intelligence (AI) Gemini 3 Flash from Google is significantly ahead of its predecessor Gemini 2.5 and in some cases surpasses ChatGPT from OpenAI. Valery Cherepennikov, former CEO of Intel in Russia, told Izvestia on December 18.

"The context window has been expanded to more than 1 million tokens. Impressive progress has been made in working with images in Gemini 3 pro. Still, I can't call Gemini 3 some kind of radical breakthrough," the expert said, adding that this model is an evolutionary development of AI.

According to him, there is currently a rapid development of technology not only from Google, but also from other companies.
