400 abandoned cars were evacuated from the streets of Krasnodar

Public utilities in Krasnodar have evacuated 400 abandoned cars from the streets and yards since January 2025. This is reported by the press service of the city administration.

The largest number of unattended cars — more than 190 — was eliminated in the Prikubansky district, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency. Another 113 pieces of junk were removed from the territory of the Central District, 63 cars were taken out in the Karasun district, 34 in the Western district.

This work is directly related to the safety of citizens, said the mayor of the city, Evgeny Naumov. According to him, homeless people often settle in empty cars, which leads to violations of sanitary standards. Also, broken vehicles attract the attention of children and teenagers, posing a threat to their health.

The city authorities conduct daily monitoring of the territory for abandoned cars. When an unattended vehicle is found, the search for its owner is conducted first. If successful, the owner is instructed to remove the car himself. Otherwise, municipal services will eliminate the junk.
