The PSB told about the construction of the tallest hotel in Siberia

Oleg Barybin, First Deputy Chairman of the PSB, Sergey Tsivilev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, and Ilya Seredyuk, Governor of the Kemerovo Region — Kuzbass, got acquainted with the construction of the tallest hotel in Siberia. This was reported in the press service of the PSB, which supports the project.

A 5-star hotel is being built in Kemerovo, near the Tom River. The building will have 18 floors and about 200 rooms. The height of the hotel will be almost 100 meters, and the total area will be 19.5 thousand square meters.

The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027.

The delegation also assessed the progress of the construction of the museum and theater complex, which will be connected to the hotel by a warm floating passage using translucent structures.

"Kemerovo is an industrial, economically developed city, a center of attraction for major scientific and cultural events, with high potential for further growth, including in the field of tourism. The construction of the museum and theater complex is a large-scale project that has no analogues in Siberia. The new complex will become an important center of cultural life in Kuzbass and a point of attraction for guests from different parts of the country and the world, and the hotel complex will become a real gem of tourism. The PSB will continue to actively support the implementation of such significant tourism projects, contributing to the development of the regions' economies and increasing their investment attractiveness," Barybin said.

The museum and theater complex will become part of the Siberian Cultural Cluster. It will include representative offices of the State Russian Museum and the Kuzbass Art Center, as well as a branch of the Mariinsky Theater.

"The overall readiness of the museum and theater complex is 69%, now more than 2,300 people work at the site. It will be connected to the highest 5-star hotel in Siberia by a warm walkway. In general, the facility will become one of the attractions not only of the city of Kemerovo, but also of the entire Kuzbass, and will attract guests from all over the country," Seredyuk emphasized.
