More than a thousand garbage containers have been installed in the Pskov region

More than a thousand new containers appeared in the Pskov Region in 2025. The work was carried out by Ecogroup, a regional operator for municipal solid waste management.

In total, 1,120 similar objects for garbage collection have been placed in the region, the Pskov News Feed writes.

As explained in the company's press service, the installation of containers is one of the important factors for improving the environment and creating comfort and coziness in the region.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that pharmacies are being asked to reduce the cost of waste removal for them. Industry organizations appealed to the government, saying that they were being paid at a rate that was too high for them, the same as grocery stores.
