VTB Pension Fund reports on long-term savings of clients

In December, the amount of funds in the accounts of clients in the long-term savings program of the pension fund NPF VTB exceeded 100 billion rubles. The number of program participants replenishing their long-term savings accounts in the fund has reached almost 1.2 million people, the bank said.

"The activity of the program participants naturally increased by the end of the year. The possibility of obtaining maximum co—financing and good profitability are key motives for our clients," said Andrey Osipov, CEO of VTB NPF. He said that in 2024, customers received 15.5 billion rubles of state support to their accounts. After summing up the financial results of the year, by the end of March, their accounts will receive a return, which today amounts to about 23% per annum in VTB NPFs.

According to the latest report of the Bank of Russia, VTB Pension Fund ranks first in terms of assets, pension savings and the number of clients under compulsory pension insurance (OPS) contracts. For 11 months of 2025, VTB NPF clients contributed more than 55 billion rubles of personal contributions to the program, excluding pension savings declared for transfer to the compulsory pension insurance (OPS), the bank said.

The total number of clients of NPF VTB exceeds 11.2 million people. The volume of assets as of November 1 is almost 1.3 trillion rubles, of which more than 1 trillion are pension savings of clients under OPS agreements, an increase of 9.5% since the beginning of the year. The volume of pension reserves (funds from NGO and PDS clients) reached 227 billion rubles, showing an increase of 54%. Pension payments to the fund's clients on OPS and NGOs for 3 quarters exceeded 30 billion rubles.
