Road repairs in Pskov region completed on time

In the Pskov region, road works that were carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" have been completed. This was announced by the Regional Minister of Transport and Road Management Stanislav Starmolotov.

According to the minister, quoted by the Pskov News Feed, despite the difficulties at the beginning of the road construction season and unfavorable weather, all work at the facilities being commissioned in 2025 has been completed. Facilities are being accepted and documents are being processed. There are only objects remaining that will be transferred to subsequent years. We are talking about bridges that have been under repair for more than one year.

Starmolotov provided statistics on the facilities that were repaired this year. According to him, more than 80 km of roads have been repaired. Difficulties arose with the repair of facilities, which is carried out within the framework of the national project of the state program "Integrated Rural Development". It was possible to reconstruct more than 17 km of the Siverst-Porechye highway. One launch complex was put into operation in the autumn. The acceptance of the second launch complex will take place on December 5.

In addition, nine bridges have been repaired, seven more have been put into operation, and two will be commissioned in the near future.

In early October, it was reported that major repairs of two sections of the Idritsa–Lopatovo highway had been completed in the Sebezhsky district of the Pskov region. The work took place on the sites passing through the villages of Sutoki and Lopatovo. Their total length was 2.6 km. As part of the overhaul, the gravel road surface was replaced with asphalt concrete. The road workers also laid out sidewalks, installed a lighting line, set up bus stops, installed road signs and applied markings.
