For the final of the year: the most anticipated games of December
By the end of the year, development studios and publishers are reducing their turnover, and the release schedule is emptying. But still, this December there are interesting projects that can be added to the backlog. For more information, see the Izvestia digest.

Together with the game director of Spec Ops: The Line, Corey Davis, and the gaming division of Blumhouse, known for the horror films Paranormal Phenomenon, Sinister, and others, he created Sleep Awake. The game tells about the last city on Earth where you can fall asleep and not wake up. People just disappear in their sleep, so those who want to survive try not to sleep. Toxic Crusaders
When it will be released: December 4
Genre: beat-em-up
What to play on: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch
Recently, the beat-em-up genre has been experiencing, if not a heyday, then definitely a small renaissance. Toxic Crusaders, based on the 90s animated series of the same name, is coming out this month. That, in turn, was launched as a "children's" version of the completely non-childish series of thrash comedies "Toxic Avenger" by Troma Studio. In the cartoon, the mutant Toxi and a group of his motley strange friends saved the planet from environmental disasters. The developers promise a lot of references for those who are familiar with the original source, but also note that for those who have not watched the cartoon, the plot will be clear and interesting. The game features seven characters with unique skills and a cooperative that supports up to four participants.
Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows
When it will be released: December 4

What to play on: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Genre: action, sports simulator
What to play on: PC, PlayStation 5
Mix skateboarding and fighting in the underworld? Why not? Skate techniques will help you move through hell and fight its hordes. The game is published by Devolver Digital studio, which specializes in such bold projects.
UNBEATABLE

Music is illegal in this world, but a group of young punk musicians are not afraid to defy the system. The gameplay of the rhythm adventure game UNBEATABLE is based on rhythm and is extremely simple: only two buttons are used for the top and bottom notes.
