More and more Russians are positive about the fact that their children use artificial intelligence (AI) and communicate with neural networks. Thus, 67% of residents of large cities are convinced that working with AI is the "skill of the future." This is evidenced by a Kaspersky Lab study, the results of which were reviewed by Izvestia on November 27.

Andrey Sidenko, head of the Children's online safety department, noted that adults increasingly perceive interaction with neural networks not only as a form of leisure, but also as part of the educational process.

"In the future, it will become the same basic skill as the ability to search for information in a browser or work with office software. But everything needs to be approached wisely — children need to understand that neural networks cannot be fully trusted, because they can invent facts, and it is dangerous to consult them on medical and other important issues," he stressed.

According to the study, one third of the respondents perceive children's communication with AI neutrally, believing that it is inevitable. 74% of adults are convinced that their children most often log into chatbots for entertainment, another 73% — to search for information, 62% — to study. Another 46% of respondents are sure that schoolchildren use neural networks to communicate.

Sergey Hakobyan, head of the product development department of the <url> educational platform, noted that modern schoolchildren do not wait for ready-made explanations, but connect digital tools to better understand the material.

"According to our data, almost every fourth elementary school student has tried neural networks, mostly out of interest and to parse complex topics," he concluded.

In September, I will choose from the financial marketplace survey.<url>" it turned out that parents between the ages of 30 and 40 have increased spending on additional classes for children related to neural networks and programming. The study involved 3,000 Russians aged 18 to 50 years. According to the survey results, the average monthly expenses for neural network and children's programming clubs increased by more than a third, from 4.2 thousand rubles in 2024 to 5.7 thousand rubles in 2025.
