Lipetsk has set a record high New Year's tree

The tallest spruce in Lipetsk was installed in the European neighborhood. Its height is a record 24 meters, GOROD48 reported on Tuesday, November 25.

The employees of the Lipetsk City Light have already started decorating the festive tree. Soon it will shine with colorful lights. Another Christmas tree was installed at the Zvezdny Sports Palace.

The decoration of the regional capital continues in parallel. So, New Year's compositions have already appeared on Polina Osipenko Street, Konstantinova Square and the territory of the Syrsky Rudnik microdistrict.

According to the mayor's office, about thirty festive locations throughout the city will be decorated this season.

Earlier it was reported that Yelets will be turned into the New Year's capital of the Lipetsk region. The city will become the main venue of the regional festival "Christmas Trees of the Lipetsk land".
