The development of artificial intelligence (AI) and the introduction of modern digital technologies in the fuel and energy sector contribute to accelerating decision-making, increasing labor productivity, and improving the efficiency of the fuel and energy complex (fuel and energy complex). Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia on November 20.

"We are at a stage where, through the introduction of modern digital solutions, we are accelerating decision—making, labor productivity, and fuel and energy sector efficiency," he said.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, there may be some risks associated with this in the future, but at the moment they are premature. He clarified that the new sanctions pressure on logistics negatively affects trade and economic ties and logistics chains, which also has consequences for the global economy. Novak added that Russia will adapt and cope with such fluctuations.

Yesterday, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that Russia needs to ensure the stability and independence of the national digital infrastructure in order to increase the potential of domestic generative and artificial intelligence technology and teach domestic language models. He clarified that it is necessary to create a market for the use of AI achievements in the country.
