A section of the Sayany highway was repaired in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an 8.5 km section of the Sayany highway was repaired ahead of schedule. The cost of the work amounted to 214.1 million rubles, the press service of the regional government reported on Wednesday, October 1.

The road segment is located in the Kuraginsky municipal district. The work took place within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

The renovation was planned for two years, but thanks to additional financing, the facility was put into operation ahead of schedule. The DRSU-10 company acted as the contractor.

The road workers laid a new asphalt surface, filled out the roadsides, removed the depths with the help of geotextiles, installed a barrier fence and new road signs. The specialists also cut down shrubs and small woodlands from the ditches and slopes of the embankment, and cleared drainage ditches.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the quality of repairs was checked by representatives of the public control. No comments were revealed.

Earlier it was reported that the road campaign in Krasnoyarsk has reached its final stage. Work is still ongoing at some sites.
