There is interest in Russian tourists all over the world. Alexander Osaulenko, director of the TURPOMOSH Association, Vice President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, told about this at a press conference on September 25 on the topic "Summer Results: where will Russians go in the velvet season?" at the Izvestia News center.

According to him, Turkey, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Cuba remain the leaders among popular destinations. Special attention is also paid to the development of neighboring countries.

On September 16, Megafon analysts reported that 9% more Russians traveled abroad this summer than last year. The interest in Africa and Asia grew the most, by 38% and 37%. Turkey is still the main destination — the country is leading both as a vacation destination and as a convenient transfer point. It is followed by Belarus, Kazakhstan, Abkhazia and Georgia.
