In Syria, seven people were killed and four injured in an attack in the Aleppo area.

In the Syrian village of Umm Tinah in the Deir Hafer region east of Aleppo, seven civilians were killed and four others were injured as a result of an attack using drones and artillery. This is reported by Sham TV, citing a statement by a military representative of the Kurdish Forces of Democratic Syria (SDF) coalition.

"The attacks began with drone strikes, followed by intense artillery fire aimed directly at the homes of civilians," the publication clarifies.

According to the SDF, the attack was allegedly carried out by "militants of the Damascus government."

After the attacks on the settlements of the community, Israel joined the conflict — the aircraft struck the presidential palace in Damascus.

The president of the Syrian transitional period, Ahmed al-Sharaa, said because of the Israeli attack that the state is not afraid of war and is ready to fight. According to him, the protection of the Druze and their rights is a priority, as Israel has promised to destroy the Syrian government forces. It is specified that the Druze are being attacked in the south of Syria.
