The news about the opening of Krasnodar airport has spurred tourist interest in Kuban. The analysts of the Yandex Travel service told Izvestia about this on September 20.

"Since the announcement of the news about the opening of the airport in Krasnodar, the number of booked hotels and apartments in the Krasnodar Territory with a check—in date of September 17 and later has increased 1.2 times, in Krasnodar - 1.5 times. We are talking about bookings made from September 11 to September 15, inclusive, compared to the previous five days," the analysts said.

The agency recalled that it had not operated flights since the end of February 2022 for security reasons. Later, Aeroflot launched ticket sales for flights to Krasnodar from Moscow and other regions of Russia.
