Ynet reported on a protest in Jerusalem by families of hostages in Gaza
In Jerusalem, the families of Israelis who were taken hostage in the Gaza Strip protested after serious attacks on the city. This was announced on September 16 by the Ynet portal.
After the attack on Gaza City, the families of the abducted and captive survivors demonstrated in front of the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the capital.
It is noted that the protesters temporarily blocked traffic on the streets of Jerusalem.
"We are taking to the streets to demand the return of our children with a comprehensive agreement and an end to the war," the portal quoted one of the activists as saying.
Earlier, on September 15, it was reported that the Israeli military carried out airstrikes on high-rise buildings in Gaza City before the likely start of a ground operation to take it under control. At the same time, US Secretary of State Marco Rubil visited Israel to show support for the country after its attack on Qatar, which caused anger among Arab countries.
