It is necessary to carry out cadastral registration of real estate in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. This was announced on August 26 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting with Oleg Skufinsky, head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr).

"One of the most significant topics that we discussed at our last meeting was issues related to the activities of your agency in the territories of the new regions of the country. <...> It is very important to inventory all objects there, ensure their cadastral registration and generally guarantee property rights in the same way as throughout Russia. This is provided by the Rosreestr system," Mishustin said.

According to him, making such accounting high—quality is a difficult job. In turn, Skufinsky stressed that this issue is under special control of the Federal Register, and the main goal of the project is to conduct a complete inventory of land and real estate in the new regions by the end of 2026.

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation also pointed out the importance of creating developments based on domestic technologies using all security measures. At the same time, they should be aimed at interactive interaction with people, since "property issues concern every person in Russia," Mishustin concluded.

On August 21, Mishustin pointed to Russian President Vladimir Putin's constant monitoring of the issue of restoring new regions of the state. According to him, the regions of Donbass and Novorossiya are going through a difficult path, so Russia must restore their infrastructure and create a new urban environment.
