Another automatic weight and size control point will appear in the Khabarovsk Territory. Its construction is underway on the 44th km of the highway "Access to the Mukhen river" in the Lazo district as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

According to Konstantin Kravtsov, the regional Minister of Transport and Road Management, quoted by IA AmurMedia, the point will allow monitoring the total weight of cars and the load on the axles of vehicles, timely detecting violations such as exceeding the dimensions and permissible weight of cargo. Information about violations will be sent to the supervisory authorities.

Construction work is currently underway to prepare the foundations of the site and the embankment. Excavation work has been completed, rock has been filled in, a platform of sand-gravel mixture and a leveling layer of crushed stone has appeared. The geotextile coating was laid at 70%. All stages of construction must be completed no later than October 15.

At the same time, work continues on the repair of the 7 km long road on the section from the 19th to the 26.2 th km of the same highway. Workers are eliminating problems caused by ground heaving of the roadway.

Earlier it was reported that the city authorities allocated 2.2 billion rubles for road repairs in Khabarovsk in 2025. This is 700 million rubles more than in 2024. The list of facilities for renovation has been coordinated with public organizations, including those that represent the interests of people with disabilities.
