Repair of the Krasnoyarsk-Elite road has reached the final stage

The reconstruction of the Krasnoyarsk-Elite road is coming to an end in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The overall readiness of the facility is 93%, said Andrey Zhuravlev, head of the regional highway Department.

The contractor has already replaced the asphalt, installed road signs and fences, equipped pedestrian areas, installed lighting, and applied markings.

"Work is underway, there is not much left — to fill up the roadsides, fix the slopes, finish the markings, complete the drainage system, hang up the missing signs," Zhuravlev said, quoted by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

According to him, the experts' comments are uncritical. The road is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of September.

The reconstruction of the highway began in 2021. During this time, three sites were put into operation: near the Meat Processing Plant stop, areas with the intersection of Minino — Bugachevo roads and the intersection of Krasnoyarsk — Elite and Yelovoye — Minino station.

An automatic weight and size control point is also being built on the 4-km highway. The work is carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

Earlier in August, it was reported that a section of the road connecting the region with the Kemerovo Region would be repaired in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. We are talking about a section of the Dubinino – Uryup River highway without asphalt in the Sharypovsky district.
