Russian government to reimburse electricity costs in new regions
The Russian government will allocate another 1.5 billion rubles to reimburse consumers for electricity in new Russian regions. This was announced on August 18 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
He specified that the government continues systematic work on the social and economic development of the new subjects of the country, as well as their full integration into the single space of the state.
The Russian Prime Minister noted that this year the new regions of the Russian Federation were united into one network organization. According to him, this has contributed to a significant increase in the intensity of major repairs and equipment upgrades, as well as improved logistical support for local specialists.
"In total, over 10 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes. It was decided to allocate another 1.5 billion rubles to reimburse consumers for the purchase of electricity," Mishustin said during the meeting.
According to him, it is expected that thanks to this measure, more working capital will remain at the disposal of industrial enterprises and the service sector, while maintaining the necessary level of reliability of the entire electric power complex.
Earlier, on June 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the Russian authorities were monitoring the implementation of key projects in new regions of the country. He called the huge potential of industrial, agricultural, logistical and economic opportunities of Donbass and Novorossiya and stressed the need to unleash it.
